\\DAILY TICKET:

Daily tickets will be available for all days. Starting from mid-September, we will be offering Day Tickets for FAF23. These DayPass will grant you access to all the amazing workshops, parties and attractions for the respective day.

Keep an eye on our website and social media channels for more information on ticket prices, availability, and how to book your Day Tickets.

Ordering one day party in advance or dance workshops only is not possible. Thanks for your understanding. 

\\EXCHANGE POLICY:

We do not provide refunds if you are unable to attend the event but it can be transferred/sold to another person. However, if you wish to transfer your ticket to someone else, you can purchase a transfer option for 20 Euros. This transfer option will be available until October 15th. We only need you to send an email to info[at]forro-aachen.de requesting the change of the ticket to another person. We'll take care of the necessary changes and confirm the transfer.

Forró Aachen Festival is not responsible for possible exchanges between participants.

\\REIMBURSEMENT:
If the event cannot take place due to major force, you have two options:
1. Your ticket is automatically valid for our next edition in 2024;
2. The amount will be refunded 100% to the participants within 30 days from the last day of the event. 

\\ARE THE TICKETS UNLIMITED? 

No! Each lot has a limited number of tickets for sale, as well as specific release dates. Once the tickets in a lot or a category are sold out, we will move on to the next lot.

\\ONLINE BOOKING
The ticket purchase through the site can be made ONLY until 3 days (untill 13th November) befor the event starts, due to the need for the verification of the ticket payment. After this date, the ticket purchase can ONLY be made directly at the event location itself, depending on to the availability of places. 
 

Do not wait to long! The tickets for the Fesitval 2018 and 2019 were sold out 8 eight weeks before the festival. You can check the price of tickets for each category and lot in the “Tickets” area.

\\REGISTRATION

Please use the registration payment form through the platform: EVENTBRITE for ordering. 
After your successful registration/payment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. In the case that you don't get this e-mail in 4 four weekdays, get in contact with the event administration through the e-mail info[at]forro-aachen.de or through our contact form.

If you do not receive the confirmation message within 4 four weekdays of registration/payment, please check your Spam or Bulk E-Mail folder just in case the confirmation email got delivered there instead of your inbox. If so, select the confirmation message and mark it Not Spam, which should allow future messages to get through.

\\CHECK IN AT FESTIVAL

On Thursday (16.11.) at the place of the Party or on Friday (17.11.) or Saturday (18.11.) at the place of the Workshops and parties, you can exchange your ticket (payment receipt and/or your confirmation of your registration e-mail) into valid Festival bracelet (Fullpass/Partyfullpass or Daypass).

Please note: On Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday NIGHT (PARTY) you can enter ONLY with the PASS = BRACELET (full or the appropriate pass for the day or party pass). 

STEP 1: CHECK your payment details and your purchased pass:

FullPass - grants access  to all workshops & parties from Thursday till Sunday (16th to 19th November).

DayPass - grants access to all Workshops + afternoon and night parties for the respective day
 

Party FullPass - grants access to all afternoon and night parties from Thursday till Sunday (16th to 19th November).

Accommodation, flights, food and any other costs are the responsibility of the participant.

STEP 2: Since the tickets are personalized and nominated, participants must also present an (ID with photo) identification along with their respective ticket (email confirmation or payment receipt either as a scan or in paper form)

STEP 3: If you're already registered with a group, please tell us your group name when you check-in at the festival. 

STEP 4: After check-in, you will receive your bracelet. Your Festival bracelet is your pass for the workshops and/or parties, please do not lose this. Otherwise you have to buy a new one. Thanks for your understanding. 

STEP 5: Smile and enjoy every moment of the festival to the fullest ;)! ​

\\TICKETS FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL PARTY AT THE DOOR

All parties are open to all who wish to attend. Every venue will sell tickets at the door. Prices to be announced soon. There is no way to reserve or pre-pay those tickets. The only way to guarantee admission to the parties is to purchase any of the Full/Day/Party Pass tickets. Daily tickets for each day will be subject to availability.

\\ALL TICKETS ARE SOLD-OUT! WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Ask on our official event/on your facebook/ your forró friends if someone is interested in selling their ticket.

I WANT TO GIVE A TICKET TO MY FRIEND! HOW CAN I DO THAT? 

You can follow the normal process for buying a ticket, and send us after booking your friend’s name and email address.  

\\HOW CAN I GUARANTEE MY ENTRANCE TO THE PARTIES?

The only way to guarantee your entrance to the parties is to have either a Full/Group/Day/Party Pass. If you only want to participate to an individual party, the best you can do is to appear early at the door!

​\\I WANT TO ATTEND ONLY TO A SINGLE CLASS AT THE FESTIVAL, IS IT POSSIBLE?
No, the classes are only accessible by the Full/Group/Day Pass holders.

\\IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE MY TICKET FROM PARTY PASS TO FULL PASS (OR THE OPPOSITE)?

No, once a ticket is bought, the only way to change category is to sell yours to someone and buy a new one if they are still available (see EXCHANGE POLICY above). Please keep in mind that each Pass is subject to availability.

\\GROUPDISCOUNT FULLPASS

The best way to have fun is to share the joy with your forrozeir@s friends.

Tickets with groupdiscount can not be ordered in the system on the website.
Please send us via e-mail info[at]forro-aachen.de a list with the names of the respective members of the group. Then you will get further information, in order to make the transfer. Many thanks!

A group should consist of a minimum of 10 ten people by common payment. Valid for all Workshops and all parties.  

\\WHERE ARE THE WORKSHOPS AND PARTIES GOING TO TAKE PLACE?
We are still finalizing the official schedule for the festival, and by mid-August, we will publish the locations of the parties and workshops on our website. Thank you very much for your patience. 

CAN I TAKE PART TO THE FESTIVAL DANCE CLASSES IF I AM A BEGINNER?

Claro! We also offer workshops for beginners. There will be courses at several levels: a class for advanced learners, one for intermediate learners and one for beginners.

\\ADAVANCED, INTERMEDIATE OR BEGINNER? 
If you are not sure which level is adequate for you, you can make a preliminary choice. After consulting the course instructor you can still switch to another level. You can also ask your dance teacher which level is right for you. 

\\I DO NOT HAVE A DANCING PARTNER :(

Do not worry! Bring yourself and some good vibes. 

During the classes, each teacher will exchange the partners on the course every few minutes. Thus, each participant has the chance to dance, although it has itself no dance partner. Show de bola :)!

\\CLASS CONTENTENT AND LEVEL

Please be honest with yourself by registering and do not overestimate yourself! Because this can disturb your dance development and the other participants in the course as well 

Level Beginner: basic steps; dois pra lá dois pra cá, 1 - 2 - 3  forward and backward steps, leading, being led, half and whole right and left turns, rhythm exercises, changing hands and open and close dancing posture.

Level Intermediate 1: Step variations, figures combinations, turns left & right way, basic figures, expression and rhythm exercises.

Level Intermediate 2: Complex steps combinations, expression, improvisation, style variations, hip rotation, sacadas de pernas, musicalidade. 

Advanced: Complex step variations and combinations of figures in context, expression, footworks, legworks, improvisation, double twists, sacadas de pernas, hip and shoulder rotations & musicality.

\\FESTIVAL T-SHIRTS

Yes, there will be festival t-shirts! If you would like to have one, please let us know by filling out the application form for the festival. Please, also specify your size, so that we have the right sizes in stock. Payment on location.

\\MEALS AND DRINKS DURING THE DANCE WORKSHOPS

You can bring your water and a small snack to the workshops during the day.  
For all participants it will be possible during the dance workshops to buy cold and warm drinks, fresh sandwiches, brazilian foods and sweets nearby the workshop place. 

The consumption of food and glass bottles in the dance room is prohibited.

\\CAN I JUST  WATCH THE CLASSES AND FILM A BIT?
No! Remaining in the rooms and event venues is only allowed for event participants (Full/Day pass). Filming is not allowed if you are not actively participating in the event. Otherwise, the daily registration fee will be charged.  

\\PUBLIC TRANSPORT IN AACHEN

Not always but most, there are night-busses running during the night. So for your own comfort, check it before, so that you don't need to wait to long outside the party...! ;-). Or you share a taxi with your forró dance friends :).
