Welcome to the international Forró Aachen dance festival 2018, a brazilian dance experience! 

"The success story continues" - from the 08th until the 11th of November 2018 we will organise for you again the forró dance, culture and music festival  in Aachen. This year is the "Dança de Salão" Edition.

Existing since 2005, Forró Aachen wants to celebrate its 13th anniversary with YOU!!!

 
Once again, the cosy city of Aachen turns into the wild and wonderful centre of the forró pé de serra scene in Europe.

Let’s enjoy 4 seven shimmering days of dance workshops with brilliant dancing-teachers, fascinating shows, ecstatic brasilian parties and breath taking live music and a lot of surprises.

The Forró Aachen Festival has become one of the largest and best quality Forró events in Europe. We will do all that is necessary for a “Forró deluxe experience” for YOU again!

Dança de Salão (brazilian ballroom dance) is a set of partner dances in Brazil like samba de gafieira, zouk, soltinho, bolero and of course FORRÓ. The most practiced couple dances in Brazil!

Register for the Forró Aachen Festival 2018 is closed!

For Parties there will be tickets available everyday night at the parties door.

When you use PayPal, don't forget to mention your full name so we can verify your payment.
Pay with your credit card or directly through your paypal account.

You can pay via PayPal or Bank transfer. If you would like to use a Bank transfer, please make sure you check and use the correct bank details (see payment details). After your bank transfer please send us the name of the person, who will use the ticket, wich dance level and the e-mail address through our registration payment form.

After your successful registration/payment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail.

If you do not receive the confirmation message within 4 four weekdays of registration/payment, please check your Spam or Bulk E-Mail folder just in case the confirmation email got delivered there instead of your inbox. If so, select the confirmation message and mark it Not Spam, which should allow future messages to get through.

In the case that you don't get this e-mail in 4 four weekdays, get in contact with the event administration through the e-mail info[at]forro-aachen.de or through our contact form.

Prices

FullPass - will give you acces to all the workshops & parties from Thursday till Sunday.

Pass A - acces to all the workshops & parties from Friday till Saturday.

Pass B - acces to all the workshops & parties from Saturday till Sunday.

DayPass - is only for the respective day (Workshops + party)

Party FullPass - will give you only acces to all parties from Thursday till Sunday.

*GROUP TICKETS

The best way to have fun is to share the joy with your forrozeiros friends.

Tickets with groupdiscount can not be ordered in the system on the website.
Please send us a list with the names of the respective members of the group. Then you will get further information, in order to make the transfer. Many thanks!

A group should consist of a minimum of 10 ten people by common payment. Valid for all Workshops and all parties. Thank you!

Couch Surfing 2018:

If you're coming from another city and looking for a place to sleep for the Forró Aachen Festival, feel free to aks here. 

If you can offer a couch or a few free and clean square metres on your floor, think about hosting someone. It's always nice to meet new Forró people- have a good time together, maybe built a friendship.

Germany: 

Cologne/Bonn Airport (CGN / EDDK) has international and domestic flights and is located 73 km from Aachen.

Düsseldorf International Airport (DUS / EDDL) has international and domestic flights and is located 74 km from Aachen.

Dusseldorf Weeze (NRN) has international and domestic flights and is located 134 km from Aachen.

Netherlands: 

The nearest airport is Maastricht Aachen Airport (MST / EHBK). This airport has international flights and is located about 28 km from the center of Aachen.

Eindhoven (EIN) has international and domestic flights and is located 112 km from Aachen.

Belgium: 

Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL) is located 137 km from Aachen, Germany.

Another airport is Liège Airport (LGG / EBLG), which has international flights and is located 49 km from Aachen, Germany.

*Terms & Conditions:

The registration gets binding by sending the registration data via E-Mail or using  the payment formular and obliges to payment of the full ticket price.

Conditions of participation:

If you want to participate in the dancing classes, you should be in a fit and healthy constitution. If your physical ability is restricted in any way or if you suffer under any physical impairment, you should consult a doctor to check if you are able to cope with the physical strain.
You should also bring adequate dancing shoes. Of course you can dance on the parquet floor barefoot.

Cancelation:

Until 30 days before beginning of the festival is a cancelation possible. Cancelation fee is 50% of the total amount per pass. After that date the cancelation is only possible by providing a different person to atend instead. 

Responsibility:

We don't take any responsibility for health or belongings; except as far as demanded by german laws. No liabilities for clothes or other belongings taken to the festival.

By registering to the Forró Aachen festival 2018 the conditions are accepted.
